Overview:
Toronto Jaffray Chinese Alliance Church is looking for a Pastor for Cantonese Ministry to lead and care for the Cantonese-speaking congregation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The CM Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor (or designate) and is accountable to the TJCAC Elder Board and the Eastern Canadian District (ECD) of The Alliance Canada.
Required Qualifications:
- Theologically trained to lead others from an accredited evangelical theological seminary
- e.g. Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or an equivalent qualification
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- A pastoral style that is warm and positive, leading the church community to grow in love; not overly critical or stern
- Solid biblical foundation, with gifting in preaching and Bible teaching
- Fluent in spoken, written, and reading Cantonese; proficient in English for communication, ministry coordination, and report writing

Help out with office administrations when required. Be familiar with, and abide by the TJCAC Human Resources manual, as updated, including but not limiting to ministry reporting and expense accounting.
