  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers across NextGen Ministries
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring Plan to Protect® policies and procedures are implemented across NextGen Ministries
  • Proactively communicate with youth, parents/guardians, and volunteers in ways that build trust, clarity, and a culture of belonging
  • Provide pastoral care and support to parents/guardians, including facilitating occasional meetings
  • Manage ministry logistics including scheduling, budget, supplies, and event coordination
  • Communicate proactively with the Senior Pastor regarding ministry plans, risks, and priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, Education, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of leadership experience in youth ministry or a similar setting
  • An alternate combination of education and experience that shows you’re ready for this role will be considered

  • Know how to build trust, handle the messy stuff with grace, and lead with discernment and sound judgement
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure and when plans change on the fly
  • Consistent follow through - can plan, organize, and deliver what’s needed with excellence
